So... IMHO, it's not a matter that using software more than BSD
license on Haiku.

BTW, you can find Sun Pinyin Input Method which released under a
dual-licensing scheme
of CDDL and LGPLv2.1 in following URL, and of course it can run on BeOS/Haiku.
