I'm not sure about it yet, but I don't think it wouldn't be too bad to
make the generic driver handle specific devices as well. At least this
would work better with the way the current boot method is working.
I definitely want to think about redesigning the way it's all working
in the future - I just don't really have the time to do that now, at
least not alone.
