please make sure the following packages are installed:

|    subversion
   autoconf
   automake
   texinfo
   flex
   bison
   gawk
   build-essential
the names might be (slightly) different if you're running something not debian based. If the problem persists, please report the precise error, host os, haiku revision, etc...
