Python is moving from subversion to mercurial, I haven't used it much,
but hear good things about it.  IIRC it works on Haiku, but might have
some issues since our python is not yet 100% working:

As always, patches welcome.
It's been a few months since I looked at mercurial on Haiku:
http://ports.haiku-files.org/wiki/dev-util/mercurial/1.0.2/2
So it may work better with the recent python builds we've done.
