While it may be hard to hear the critics, I think this should be done 
in the public, too, and it would probably be better to hear more sides 
to the story instead of just the final judgement.
Just like we point out any other failure of our brave committers 
publicly as well.

I'm not sure what the advantages are of discussing this privately.
