This definitely shows a lot of improvements especially when it comes to visuals.
Left side BeOS 5.0.3, right side latest Haiku nightly.
Interesting stuff. I also noticed an animation in the "waiting to shut down"
dialog I didn't

You should file a bug report for the missing animation. Attach the
video. Some sort of progress indicator would also be nice, perhaps a
progress bar.
