Hi,

Haiku icons are trivial to resize old BeOS icons look ugly when upsized.
I began investigating using hqx to upsize the icons when I realized that
the tracker must upsize BeOS icons! And in fact it does. Can somebody
knowledgable in this area stippi? point me to where in the tracker
source this is happening? Thanks.

I haven't had my coffee, yet, but I don't understand what you are trying to do. The first part of your mail sounds like you are investigating some fancy upscaling algorithm, while the second part sounds like you would be happy with the algorithm that Tracker uses (bilinear scaling). Also, do you want to do this in your own Haiku application? Or is the result supposed to be in the form of bitmap files? More info please.
