Proper analogy considering that Axel wrote most of the OpenBFS code, and a load of the VFS code as well. So he pretty much fathered it, allright. Which makes him the perfect person to advise you on what to do as he's so familiar with the code. Which is what Ingo said.

I hope I simply misread you, and if so, sorry for the noise. But just in case you misread Ingo, I hope this clarifies the matter.
