Just to put a tag on it: we could easily get a physical server with an i7-920 
quad-core (with HT on top), 8 GB memory, 2x750 GB disks and 2 TB of traffic 
for 49 EUR per month.
That kind of iron should be capable of running enough virtual machines to keep 
the different services separate.
