I understand Dreamhost has VPS accounts that can be scaled on the fly
(from their web-based control panel).

Since Dreamhost has been supporting the project by hosting several of
our sites for free (Haiku Files, Haiku Ports, etc.), you may want to
consider them in case you decide to go with a VPS.
