Any thoughts on going the Cyanogenmod route? Cyanogenmod has nightly
releases and "snapshot" releases. Snapshots are taken at a point in
time when code is "more stableish".

I think that sounds like a somewhat neat solution to our immediate lack
of a release.
I mean, they shouldn't be offered as anything close to a release, but
it's definitely less of a lottery than downloading a nightly.
Still, someone has to do the testing and choosing work, combined with
uploading/copying the thing on the server, and update the web site to point
to the latest release.

To Augustin, would you be willing to take on this role? If I remember
correctly you did offer to be the release coordinator for Beta1. Not quite
the same, but still just as important.

To others, how should it be named ? Be Inc used DR# (DR1, DR2, DR3 etc) to
describe devopment snapshots of the early versions of BeOS (20 years ago
now...).

To the Haiku Inc board members, any news on manual QA testing? Automated
Cucumber testing could be controlled by the same infrastructure, which
would help considerably in testing of the snapshots. Explaining that the
snapshot is a quality assurance target and not a proper release would help
end users understand how the two differ.
