Heh, we are used to used, "thanks" to other OS-es :) withinstallation/deinstallation procedure, instead simple unpackaging.
In those OS-es you never "move" apps. What about different versions (rather apps) - those will work, as installer for each one just adds its own path to components with install procedure. And also notice, that you shouldn't/cant run two instances of same mozilla-app at same time. By design and security rules.

2008/3/7, dolgov <dolgov@xxxxx>:Hello. IMHO most proper way at the moment is to modify install script existing in Mozilla distro - so it asks place to install and modifies UserSetupScript with EXACT/full paths to app dir, instead using %A. something like: */apps/Firefox/componentsThat would cause Firefox to stop working when you move the Firefox-dir. Also you wouldn't be able to have different versions of Firefox or even other Mozilla-products and be sure they are using the right libs.
