I'm in the unfortunate position of not having a net connection on the
ThinkPad (and no room on my Linux machine), so I can't build things
myself. I've been relying on the pre-built images. And I don't see
OSS at all in the Optional Packages on that page (and may of the others
look hardly up-to-date anyway).
I found a zip of about a year ago on Haikuware, but installing that
didn't work: I got the Crystal device listed (now a 'CS416x') but
the volume-control slider in the deskbar is solid red, and of course
no sound.
Uzing the archive contents as a guide, I copied over everything from
the working partition to the current one, but it didn't improve things.
Still the red slider, though the device is once again 'CS4280'.
Any other suggestions, or am I out of luck?
