(say, Alt-A, Alt-O.) Unless you explicitly ask for it. Having a shortcut to open all the loaded images (the thumbnails in the sidebar) as separate windows could possibly make the change also acceptable to fans of the current behaviour. If Haiku's ShowImage "cascades around", this might group mode default might lessen it somewhat. (About cascading around.. Saving on-screen location that might be irrelevant the next time the app or document is opened, is at least a lesser evil than not remembering location at all. E.g. hardcoding (20,20)) BTW, this two-step behaviour 1. load in group mode 2. offer option to open multiple windows is also how I would like to change Tracker's info window. Alt-I for a summary view of the selection, and then Alt-something, maybe Alt-I again, in the summary window to break it down to individual info screens. (like Windows, unlike MacOS X) /Jonas.
