What are the votes on "zoom-to-center" and "zoom-to-mouse"?

+1 for zoom-to-mouse. It's natural that you want to go where you point.

And some more keyboard navigation issues:
I'd like to have <PageDown> and <PageUp> for Next/Previous image; many viewers on Windows work that way, and I've gotten very used to it.

Likewise, <Home> and <End> for jumping to first and last image would be nice. <Home> would be trivial as well, but <End> would need some work in the file routines.

<PageUp>/<PageDown> are close to <Home>/<End>. I've more than once jumped to the start/end of a folder of images by accident when I wanted to zap through images one by one. So, I'd prefer <CursorUp>/CursorLeft> and <CursorDown>/CursorRight> to move back and forward.

How about having <PageUp>/<PageDown> do rotating cw/ccw? That's probably the second most used function besides moving through a folder of images. There's still the danger of accidentally jumping to <Home>/<End>, but... :) The rotate shortcuts <Alt+[> / <Alt+]]> don't work for my keymap...

While we're tossing ideas: Since older computers may take some time to load the next image or rotate an image if it's quite large, a visual hint that something's processing would be good. Maybe an overlayed symbol (arrow left/right and rotating arrow cw/ccw) in the center of the window would be nice.

Humdinger
