+1   I've seen walter floating around for quite some time. 

Branding nightly images and 3rd party builds with the walter name and
images would be a good idea, and reserving the Haiku logo and name for
*official* named releases (R1A1, R1A2, R1, R2, etc..)

This kind of goes along the lines of 'FireFox'
(http://cheeaun.com/blog/images/screenshots/firefox/mozilla_firefox_1.0_about_dialog.png)
and 'MineField'
(http://cybernetnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/10/FirefoxMinefield.jpg)

Now... what kind of image would represent 'walter'?

Maybe maybe some kind of vague blueprint like reference to the Haiku
leaves?
