Hi,
I just ran a quick build attempt on Ruby 1.8.7-p22. Initial
./configure shows a few missing headers and then bombs out, I've added
this to the portlog on HaikuPorts:
http://ports.haiku-files.org/wiki/dev-lang/ruby/1.8.7-p22

About the quick build attempt on ruby 1.8.7-p22, you may take a look at
the patch attached to bug 2041 in the haiku bug database
(http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/2041).
I prepare a longer message for the 1.9 version...
