No, it doesn't require a lot of knowledge at all. It's mostly "mechanical" work like rewriting copies of the headers in a certain way and implementing the wrapper functions by converting the parameters and calling the respective build platform functions. Save for a small subset of functions which cannot be easily mapped, that is. For most of those code already exists and just needs to be massaged into the new form. It is not a suitable GSoC task, however, since it isn't *that* much work either. It's probably only a few days or maybe a week of full-time work, just very boring work. CU, Ingo
