Do we want to rewrite the BeAPI for R2 ourselves with all the work
that would require or do we want to try and farm out that work by
basing it on on some already existing API such as QT?
Nobody will be completely happy with replacing the BeAPI with another
API -- be it QT or anything else. Perhaps the solution would be to
base the R2 API on QT but with our own ideas rather than replacing it
with QT.
