possible to stay with SVN, but still use hg or git (or bzr) over some kind of bridge like hg-git, I wouldn't mind that either.
There is a svn foreign branch feature in bzr which seem to do this, but I got an error when checking out the trunk with my haiku developer name. Maybe I just did something wrong?
