Maybe it would be a good idea to give you commit access. You have a good record of patches already. What do others think? It's no good to be blocking your work when nobody has the time to apply your patches.I'd like to see this discussion finished.
What's there to finish? Nobody disagreed, so I guess he should get commit access.
While I have a few reservations about the direction of some of his patches (they sometimes tend to get into the wrong details IMO), there is nothing wrong with their quality, and I guess I can still moan on the commit mailing list instead ;-)
