[haiku-development] PackageManager

I'm still steadily working on my PackageManager and am currently focusing on a simple PackageBuilder app so I can fully test (&demo) my ideas. 

I have a question for those who have an opinion:
On the server-side of things would it be preferred to use XML files or would my previous idea of just using flattened BMessages be acceptable? 

If anyone has an opinion, now would be the time to come forward!!
(Mind you, I'm under no delusion that my code would be found to be acceptable, though I have made a habit of coding to the guidelines as much as possible [ and correcting my old code as I run through it. ]]
