That is probably normal. When a file has the executable flag (as in
chmod a+x file.jpg) this warning message will appear because Haiku
knows it isn't executable. If they don't have that flag something
might be wrong.

The icons on the files are the general icon until they have been
identified as a specific filetype by Haiku. IIRC you can right-click
one and select 'identify' to identify a files filetype.

So it is probably ok.
