Hi,

Here's a small patch to the time preference pane that adds a (minor,
pointless) graphical embellishment. The second hand gains a small
counterweight, and the ticking motion is broken into an overshoot and
a correction. At this point I'm really just poking around in the
sources to get a handle on things, but thought it might be interesting
to submit this as a patch.

If this sort of thing is acceptable, then I'd actually prefer to redo
it and change the way the hands are drawn as well.

Sorry for the delay. I dunno, it has sort of an antique feeling that I'm not sure is a good thing to put it in our Time preferences.
But other than that it looks nice :-)

I applied and had a short look as well when the patch showed up on the list, but totally forgot to answer. Sorry about that.

I'm not that fond of the overshot, I think it goes far to much away from the second it targets. And as Axel said, it looks really dated, but on the other hand it wouldn't hurt on our dated UI. ;)

So while I would rather avoid to apply it, from a code point of view it was nice of course! If there are coding question, don't hesitate to ask them. Hope we will see some more from you. :)

Best regards,
Karsten
