From the haiku source folder it would be something like:

mkdir generated-ppc
cd generated-ppc
../configure --build-cross-tools-gcc4 ppc ../../buildtools/
jam -q haiku-image

At r26905 it then builds until openpic.o, same issue Duane mentioned on IRC.

im getting 'i686-Linux cannot use BFD' or similar when configure exits uncleanly when using the cvs -r option listed on the building haiku page.

You probably mean svn up -r? There's no CVS involved.

i cant jam Haiku into anything yet , gcc is not compatible.

Do you use GCC 4.3.x? There was a post with instructions for that.
