Though if some standard OS-level way was provided to define this menu (which I would highly recommend) there could be a global preference in Haiku to either use the app icon or name for this menu. Maybe Rene's Vision implementation can be used as the basis for the OS-level one :) I think that and a standard AboutWindow class would be two good API additions for R1. We could keep them somewhat "private" if the other Haiku developers wanted (I know many of them don't like the idea of new APIs at this point.) Regards, Ryan
