If you mean #1976, that one does still exist. It's just not 100% reproducible. It rarely happens on my machine, for instance. 

Yeah, that was it. I guess I was luck then. :)


I tried to run it again just for kicks and now it failed:
Link generated/objects/haiku/x86/release/add-ons/accelerants/radeon/radeon.accelerant i586-pc-haiku-gcc: generated/objects/haiku/x86/release/add-ons/accelerants/radeon/theatre_out.o: No such file or directory i586-pc-haiku-gcc: generated/objects/haiku/x86/release/add-ons/accelerants/radeon/vesa_modes.o: No such file or directory i586-pc-haiku-gcc: generated/objects/haiku/x86/release/add-ons/accelerants/common/libaccelerantscommon.a: No such file or directory
It is obviously here that, for some reason, the linking process started before the object files were actually generated. Looks like a bug in dependency check inside jam.
