We still don't have an automated way to build packages for that branch.
We will need to rebuild everything so the packages say minimal version
"r1beta1" instead of the current "r1alpha4pm~hrevXXXXX". Without package
buildbots available, doing this manually is going to take a long time.

The haikuports release branch is also not ready, with a handful of packages
still not having a working recipe there.

And I forgot another problem which I consider blocking: so far, all package
builds I have tried with the distributed system ended with one or more of the
slaves hitting KDL because of https://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/5262.
We could consider disabling KDL (and rebooting automatically) in case of panic
on the buildslaves, so they can automatically come back and restart building.
But, I would much prefer seeing this fixed. I saw axel fixing some BFS issues
this month, so maybe we will see a fix soon?
