Hi Stephan, Your suggestion is reasonable. But I think the mDNSResponder API is very small. I didn't look into the code so I don't know about the c api. But according to the javadoc generated, the java api only contains 2 classes and 6 or 7 interfaces. Less than 20 methods can be used. I'm waiting for haiku team's comments too. Thanks. Regards, majie
