There is this company called Google (which I'm sure you're familiar with,
since you have a gmail address) which offers this cute little service called
Internet Search. You type "cortex beos" into it's search field, and you get
a nice number of links with information about Cortex. The first 3 links
should be sufficient to answer most of your questions. And in reality,
questions like these should be asked on "haiku@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx", not
haiku-development (unless of course you're actually developing the Haiku
Media kit).
