Just to be clear. What exactly do you mean by "configure" script thingy?

In terminal "configure --cross-tools-prefix
/boot/apps/haiku/cross-tools/bin/i586-pc-haiku-"?

Yes. That exactly.

I'm assuming you installed the cross-compiler by extracting into the /boot
directory.

Yes. Exactly. And WITHOUT the old GCC 2.95.3 for BeOS installed. I was sooo happy I didn't have to go through all those miserable steps. A little voice told me to try NOT installing it (when my BeOS partition got corrupted the first time) and it worked! It's been working fine ever since, until recently. So I wanna know WHY it's broken now. It goes straight from ".... patience....", to a bunch of code lingo babble, to files/directories it can't find, to something about ZETA... and skips right to the end. Exactly as shown.

Who broke what? What broke where? And how do I get back to Haiku JAMing happiness again?

And don't anyone tell me I gotta reinstall that accursed old GCC 2.95.3 for BeOS... or I'm gonna have a cow, pitch a fit, and toss my cookies... ALL AT THE SAME TIME!!!! :-D
