maybe, but you wont get much further....found another issue. its looking now for sys/wait.h stdlib.h and unistd.h and fails at making gcc now.im at xm-haiku.h and libgcc2.h when it fails to finish building the cross-tools.
no case issues here.i see what you mean ppc on ppc, the sources dont want to build natively for some reason.kicks back a message 'your arch pcc -linux-xxx does not seem to be gcc compatible....'.
frustrating to say the least.Oh the lovely CVS system we have!! needs some help.it times out dramatically and take s forever to cancel.heaven forbid they allow you to hit ^C.finally got the sources after trying desperately in gnome and dropping to a tty.

No, I was building a ppc binary on ppc... but anyway, that shouldn't make a difference. I'm pretty sure the problem is my file system's case sensitivity, not any real issue. So, I attempted to build crossutils using `./configure --build-cross-tools-gcc4 ppc ../buildtools/`, as per Ryan's tutorial for ubuntu linux. After chugging along for a few hours (I have a slow machine), it fails, for reasons I can't really comprehend. Full errors are in the attachment. Cheers! -duane
