[haiku-development] Attaching notes to any open windows

Hi,
suppose I want to develop an application for taking notes (like Tomboy
for gnome).
Now suppose I also want to be able to "attach" any notes to any opened
windows at any position,
like when you attach a note to the fridge :-) . Even though they are
not able to accept replicants.
First of all, is that possible? If it is, what would be the best way
for doing this?
Under the assumption that it is possible, my idea would be to provide
an application
server addon, that intercept BMessages from the notes application when
drag and dropping
a note into a window, in order to get ID of the note, position of
where the note has to be attached
(draw) and of course the ID of the window.
