Hi there.

If it were possible to run a quick&dirty normalize on a file (without changing 
the data) 
and put the results into an attribute, that could help setting an "absolute" 
value.

What I would find even more useful are attributes for setting 
bookmarks/chapters and a 
last_position that's set when exiting MediaPlayer. Of course, MediaPlayer would 
have to be 
adapted to use these things.
