At the risk of getting hit on the head with a banana, I'm going to reply to
this one real quick.
No, I don't think it solves the problem because it really doesn't address
the usage behavior appropriately.
It's like going to the tool shed and having a note there to go to the bike
shed. Might as well not do it and have the user spend the time initially to
learn where to go for the information.

Anyway, I didn't really want to engage in a long discussion on this mailing
list, I just wanted to present a different idea on About Window
implementation if that was being worked on. I've posted to the forums for
further discussion on this matter.

My apologies to those who may have not liked my sorry attempt at humor (IE7
comments) on the copyright issue.

To Hugo:
While the copyright discussion was perhaps too long, I don't think some
process discussions are out of place because it gives me insight on how some
of the developers think and might be useful for any of my own efforts. I
don't buy into the code first, ask questions later bit. It certainly
doesn't work when it comes to usability. But maybe my opinion is not worth
much considering I have yet to submit any useful code to the project.
