Why not put it into the base window behaviour class instead?
there is no real reason, I tried a different approach before where I used it directly in S&T and I needed it in a separate class. Just haven't merged it back. But I think it's not that bad to have another class, just a little bit more code separation.
Furthermore, I searched a while till I found the snapping code, now it should be easier to find.
