I guess you don't want to present that SVN information in the about
window, right?
But apart from that, having statistics like this in AboutSystem or on
the website, would be a nice gimmick, although I think it would be too
much work to be worthwhile, and also couldn't take the efforts that
non-developers like Matt, Scott, Urias, humdinger, and countless other
people into account.
IOW a simple list as is in AboutSystem is a much fairer approach.
With regards to the current discussion, I don't really care; if it is
an extra incentive to develop a high quality app to be included in
Haiku if the name is there, then why not, but OTOH I see no reason to
have it there either.
