A quick Google search turned up this: http://libdlna.geexbox.org/ It's LGPL and makes use of ffmpeg and another library libupnp (http://pupnp.sourceforge.net/). I'm not sure this deserves getting included with Haiku, but it probably should not be too hard to port to Haiku and maybe provide a nicer C++ API wrapper. Though looking again it seem development has stopped: "By lack of spare time, motivation and interest, libldna development is currently discontinued (this may change though). Don't expect release anytime soon :-(" But maybe working off this is better than starting over. Though at the same time maybe we are better making a nice C++ based system ourselves. Plus there is Fuppes, which was mentioned before.: http://fuppes.ulrich-voelkel.de/ -- Regards, Ryan
