I haven't updated to a newer revision yet, so I haven't tested Clemens'
changes.
Just to point out:
What François says does work when using a mouse and wheel, so it seems
to be possible somehow. (What's missing - from Tracker, I guess, is
automatic scrolling of Tracker windows when dragging an icon near the
window edges, in case you don't have a mouse with wheel or touchpad.)

And: What I described in http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/5043, dragging
an icon, is pretty similar to moving a window. Moving a window,
however, doesn't drop the window when moving over the scrolling area of
the touchpad. So, I guess the generated signals from the scrolling area
are interpreted differently.

Just wanted to say that, you probably figured that and much more out a
long time ago, Clemens. :)
Thanks for looking into it BTW!

Regards,
Humdinger
