#8414: Terminal does not check desktop geometry -----------------------------------------------+--------------------------- Reporter: arfonzo | Owner: jackburton Type: bug | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: R1 Component: Applications/Terminal | Version: Keywords: Terminal geometry window-position | R1/Development Blocking: | Blocked By: Platform: All | Has a Patch: 0 -----------------------------------------------+--------------------------- 1. Put the terminal window in your bottom right corner of the desktop, at 1920x1080. 2. Quit the terminal. 3. Change res to 800x600. 4. Open terminal. Now, terminal opens but is completely off screen. It appears not to do geometry checking, but just opens at its last known position whether it's on or off screen. I believe that it should check the geometry to see if it's still within bounds, and if not, default to 0,0 or something similar. -- Ticket URL: <http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/8414> Haiku <http://dev.haiku-os.org> Haiku - the operating system.
