 Do I activate syslog with local APIC disabled (which will allow it to get
 to the desktop) or with nothing disabled, which will cause Haiku to KDL?
 I'm assuming the former, because it won't retain the syslog otherwise,
 right?

 Now, if you activate syslog, with nothing disabled, and it crashes, but
 retains the syslog information, then you would reboot and then disable
 local APIC, to get to the desktop and acquire the syslog, but... somehow I
 don't think that would work...

 ... would it?
