You could try with a grub bootloader however. See if that gets you anywhere. I was able to get Haiku to boot by creating a CD using the latest Anyboot image last night. It gets as far as the drive w/ leaf icon and then, about 20 seconds later, crashes to KDL. I've included an image of the crash.
