#7866: Some folders/partitions don't use Locale settings in column headers ------------------------------------+---------------------------- Reporter: humdinger | Owner: zooey Type: bug | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: R1 Component: Applications/Tracker | Version: R1/Development Resolution: | Keywords: Blocked By: | Blocking: Has a Patch: 0 | Platform: All ------------------------------------+---------------------------- Changes (by anevilyak): * component: Kits/Locale Kit => Applications/Tracker Comment: This is a Tracker problem, not the Locale kit's fault at all. The problem is that Tracker's viewstate attribute stores the column names as well, seemingly that part wasn't properly adjusted when modifying Tracker for locale. Consequently, whatever language the folder was last viewed in is what gets stored to said attribute, and is then recalled when reopening the folder. If you want to verify that, try removing the _trk/viewstate_le attribute from one of the folders in question (without it currently having an open window), and then opening it again. -- Ticket URL: <http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/7866#comment:1> Haiku <http://dev.haiku-os.org> Haiku - the operating system.
