ئثلتبتيمﻻنبwell,it took me a while to find the problem.it's a fonts
issue,i found that choosing fonts other than
the "dejavu sans" family makes the characters "invisible",but curiously
this affects only the arabic & hebrew characters,so it's not a "local app"
issue as stated above.
this should help you track down the problem.
