I started to update my system via {{{ "jam -qj2 @HD update-all" }}} a
while back. So, it could be a settings issue. I didn't have a
Font_Settings in my ~/config/settings/ folder, so I started the Fonts
preferences once, which created the file. Lo! no more white bar in the
shutdown window. This makes this ticket invalid, right? If so, please
close. Thanks for the hint!
Since nobody else complains about #6838, maybe it's the same update
related issue. I'll do another regular anyboot-to-USB-and-install-from-
there update to see if that helps.
