#6454: DHCP isn't working when using router ----------------------------------+---------------------------- Reporter: berregon | Owner: axeld Type: bug | Status: closed Priority: normal | Milestone: R1 Component: Network & Internet | Version: R1/Development Resolution: fixed | Keywords: Blocked By: | Blocking: Has a Patch: 0 | Platform: All ----------------------------------+---------------------------- Comment (by kvark): I'm running Haiku A3 on a laptop with the following card: "RTL8111/8168B PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet controller" Most of the time DHCP doesn't work when connected to a router. It obtaines an address in the form 192.168.x.x while my local network is 10.0.1.x. I can set the IP/mask manually, but the name resolution doesn't happen. Is there a way to configure it by hands as well? I'm not sure if I need to re-open this bug or create a new one. -- Ticket URL: <http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/6454#comment:30> Haiku <http://dev.haiku-os.org> Haiku - the operating system.
