Comment:

 I see the problem, but I am afraid we can't do anything about it. Moving
 the mouse pointer is not only a no-go, it's impossible with absolute input
 devices like tablets or even your fingers in the future. If the page is
 already scrolled downwards, one could reveal the upper part to make the
 page's relative placement stay the same, but obviously it only works for
 scrolled pages and only for those that are scrolled farther than the
 distance of the navigation interface. I consider it a drawback of hiding
 the interface that one has to live with.
