The mail app seems unable to send or receive messages via Gmail (POP3 or
IMAP set-up). I have looked over settings recommended by Google, and it is
no dice. On perhaps an unrelated note, clicking the Inbox icon does
nothing, presumably because it thinks there's nothing to show?
