 I took this idea as project for my first application. Yay! ;)[[BR]]
 It's on Haikuware, called [http://www.haikuware.com/directory/view-
 details/utilities/desktop-accessories/quicklaunch QuickLaunch]. I think
 I'll close this ticket as invalid, since it's really a 3rd party
 opportunity, as has been remarked by aparadox. If the Haiku project would
 like to include it (and I personally can't live without this functionality
 anymore), everyone is free to grab it. Be warned though, as my first ever
 program, the source is probably quite hideous, though I pilfered big parts
 from other sources I studied... :)
