The kernel vm patch was applied to master in hrev44611 and hrev44612.
The release coordinator has mentioned a soft acceptance of the changes to
the kernel vm.
I'm working through the gui changes now.. there seem to be a few bugs
left. (the current preflet code should function with the kernel changes
post-hrev44612 however)
